Ispirazione. “Coque” rappresenta la fluidità, la fertilità, la femminilità in contrapposizione alle sembianze della materia, dura, netta, ferma.
Il resto alla libera interpretazione personale, con approfondimenti collegati alla vita di tutti i giorni.
Specifiche tecniche. L’idea del tavolo coque nasce dall’osservazione dell’incessante interazione tra i diversi elementi della natura ed il loro modificarsi con il trascorrere del tempo.
Un monolite sedimentato e stratificato nei secoli viene eroso dalla lenta ma devastante potenza di un corso d’acqua, scoprendone via via i diversi strati, levigandone le superfici e creando uno spettacolo ogni volta unico
Coque è brevettato sia nella lavorazione che nel design; attraverso un procedimento di taglio artistico si ottiene una svasatura che fa scoprire gradualmente i diversi strati di marmo.

Table Coque-Concept
Coque symbolizes the fluency, the fertility, the womenliness, conflicting with the semblance of the matter itself: tought, clear, static.
All the rest is left to the personal interpretation, with references to everyday life.
The Coque’s concept is born from the observation of the endless interaction between different natural elements and their changing during the time.
Multy-layer and deposited monolith is eroded during the centuries by the power of the water, discovering all the layers. Chromatic differences and combination of matters. Like a revisitation of a mosaic.
Technical specific. The table is built of 5 layers, 4 in marble and 1, the deepest, in onyx, a material that could be backlit colouring the light.
With an artistic cutting process the result is a flared plane that gradually shows its different layers. Coque’s design is patented, as well as its manufacturing process.

FLORIANA LAINATI, Temperamento versatile e sperimentale, nasce a Napoli e studia alla Parsons School of Design di New York. Da quando ha fondato l’omonimo studio milanese si è distinta non solo come progettista e designer d’interni ma anche come scenografa, set designer, creatrice di arredi e di gioielli.
Inizia nel mondo della moda collaborando con Trussardi, Loro Piana, Cavalli e Sector, mentre successivamente crea set fotografici per AD, Elle Decor, INTERNI e Vogue Bambini.
Approda negli anni successivi alla progettazione per Ligresti con l’Executive Lunge e allo studio di interni per Mario Bellini continuando con diverse committenze private italiane ed estere.
Tra gli ultimi campi di esplorazione consulenze stilistiche per aziende del settore e creazione di una linea di complementi d’arredo e oggettistica.

FLORIANA LAINATI, Temperament poured and experiences, Floriana Lainati borns in Naples and studies at the Parsons School of Design of New York. Since she has founded the omonimo company in Milan , she has been distinguished as planner and designer of interiors and as set designer, designer of furnishings and jewels too.
She enters into fashion’s world collaborating with Trussardi, Loro Piana, Cavalli and Sector, while subsequently she creates photographic set for AD, Elle Decor, INTERNI and Vogue Bambini.
In the years later she handles the planning for Ligresti with the Executive Lounge and the interiors for Mario Bellini going on with different Italian and foreign private customers.
Others fields of exploration are stylistic consulting for architectural, design and fashion companies besides creation of a forniture’s family.
